O'how I long, and yearn, for summer's day,
where the warmth lives in fields of green.
But life is cold ~ seems winter's here to stay!
I wish for rose's softly-blushed bouquet,
with the scent of flower-petaled dreams.
O'how I long, and yearn, for summer's day.
Just one day of laughter! One day of play!
Chasing frost far, 'pon rays of endless sun.
But life is cold ~seems winter's here to stay!
O'run away! Run away, away!
Winter, flee on wings of whitened flight!
O'how I long, and yearn, for summer's day.
I wish for the purple fluffy lilacs, on display.
Their fragrance alive within the breeze that spins
But life is cold ~ seems winter's here to stay!
Tending gardens, in thought, I sway,
with summer dreams that gently guile.
O'how I long, and yearn, for summer's day.
But life is cold ~ seems winter's here to stay!
