Before I sleep away
the night, let's stay awake,
I'd really like to play.
So many things to say,
I'd like to say I spake,
before I sleep away.
So is it yay or nay?
Before the hot-bed lake,
I'd really like to play,
awhile longer to stay,
make life more real, less fake,
before I sleep away.
Not meaning I should stray,
just have a little cake.
I'd really like to play,
before I go away,
live here, for heaven's sake.
Before I sleep away,
I'd really like to play.
