There once was much to say.
The river's flown downstream.
There's nothing more to say.
Those bustling, sunny days,
when children laughed and screamed,
there once was much to say.
Those kids have gone away,
their childhood's but a dream.
There's nothing more to say.
The youth has gone astray,
adulthood, now it seems,
there's nothing more to say.
Remember days of play,
when sun and faces beamed.
There's nothing more to say.
For now the days are grey,
seems Age and Death have teamed.
There once was much to say.
There's nothing more to say.
